Overview
The GTM 1503 AUTOMATIK houses the reservoir of resin and hardener plus the carrier foil in the lower section. Above the conveyor belt three fabrics are ready for processing and can be chosen via the LCD user interface.
Mixing and dosing
GTM 1503 Automatik applies the mixed resin onto a carrier foil. High precision pumps and an electronically controlled conveyor belt guarantee an optimal surface distribution, which later ensures an ideal resin to fiber ratio in your end product.
Depot with three different fabrics
The desired fabric is applied onto the resin from above with controlled speed. The automated impregnation ends with cutting the fabric and carrier foil. The just in time prepreg is ready for lamination.
Air exclusion
Air inclusions are minimized by GTM 1503 Automatik compared to hand lay up. By inserting the fabric from the top the matrix is able to impregnate the fabric while effectively displacing the air.
